- Karima Mokhtari,is neuropathologist since 1994 at Department of Neuropathology Raymond Escourolle of University Hospital PitiéSalpêtrière-Charles-Foix and at the Institut du Cerveau et de la MoëlleEpinière (ICM) in Paris. She received her MD at University of Algiers and was associated professor between 1990 and 1994. She is responsible of the Neuro-Oncology Pathology Unit and a member of the research team of The Experimental Neuro-Oncology UMR 7225 at ICM.
- She is an expert neuropathologist for the Brain tumor group of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer since 2000, the French Network of Neuropathology (RENOP), TUCERA (TumeursCérébralesRares), POLA (Prise en charge des Oligodendrogliomes de l’Adulte) in France and the French Group of Neurohistiocytosis. She is member of the French Society of Neuropathology, International Society of Neuropathology, International Academy of Pathology, the American Association for Cancer Research and she is the coordinator of FrancophonyCommission to the Association French-Speaking Neuro-Oncologist Association (ANOCEF).
